The Wallflower Speaks

Hand quilting is unbelievably slow. I have inherited a partially completed quilt that belonged to my husband's grandmother. She had hand quilted 3/4 of it, so I decided to be superwoman and attempt to finish it. Each star is taking me an average of an hour to complete, and my stitches look like crap.
I am totally taken aback at how much work goes into a quilt.
